Hyundai Tucson: Seat Belt / Rear Seat Belt Repair procedures
Secondary Seat Belt Relacement
• |
When installing the belt, make sure not to damaged the retractor. |

1. |
Remove the rear seat.
(Refer to Seat & Power Seat - "Rear Seat") |
2. |
Remove the rear door scuff trim.
(Refer to Interior - "Interior Trim") |
3. |
After loosening the mounting bolt, then remove the rear seat belt lower anchor (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft )

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the transverse trim (A).
• |
When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with
protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to
prevent damage. |

6. |
After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the rear seat bracket (A). |
7. |
Disconnect the lamp (A). |
8. |
Disconnect the connector (B). |
9. |
After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the luggage side trim (C). |
10. |
After loosening the mounting bolt and screws, then remove the rear pillar trim (A). |
11. |
After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the rear seat belt (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft )

12. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Replace ant damaged clips. |

Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor
• |
When installing the belt, make sure not to damage the retractor. |
|
1. |
Remove the roof trim assembly.
(Refer to Roof Trim - "Roof Trim Assembly") |
2. |
After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the second row center seat belt retractor (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.8 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

3. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Replace any damaged clips. |

Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement
1. |
Remove the rear seat.
(Refer to Seat & Power Seat - "Rear Seat") |
2. |
Loosen the mounting bolt and then remove the seat belt buckle (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft )

39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft )

3. |
Install in the reverse order of removal. |
Replacement
