Inspection
1.
Check for resistance between No.6 and No.7 terminals in each switch position.

2.

Removal
1.
Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to the RT group - "Airbag module")
2.
Remove the steering wheel screws from the back cover.

3.
Disconnect the audio remote control switch connector (A).

4.
Remove the audio remote control switch (A).
   
Be careful not to damage the hook when removing the switch.

Installation
1.
Install the audio remote control switch on the steering wheel.
2.
Install the steering wheel.
3.
Reconnect the audio remote control switch connector and airbag connectors.
   
Make sure that the switch connector is plugged in properly.
4.
Install the driver airbag module.
   
Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
Make sure horn button works.
